Duties and responsibilities:

Job Description:

  • Process all reservations requests received via phone and email according to Chedi and LQA standards
  • Accurately inserts and edits all reservations into hotel PMS
  • Handles OTA systems daily
  • Follow suggesting sales techniques to maximize hotel revenues by converting incoming requests into actual hotel reservations
  • Anticipate guest’s needs and upsell resort services and products, accordingly, including F&B, Spa, Activities…
  • Implementing LQA and Forbes Hospitality Standards accordingly
  • Shows complete product knowledge, understanding of hotel rates and offers
  • Works closely with Revenue and Sales teams and is aware at all times of online and contracted rates, availability status, and stay restrictions
  • Create and distribute required reports from PMS
  • Ensures that all special and VIP requests are handled in an efficient and timely manner
  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all challenges and matters of significance
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate

Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Traits:

  • Education Degree
  • Advanced Knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Montenegrin, additional languages would be an advantage
  • Knowledge and proper implementation of LQA and/or Forbes Hospitality Standards
  • Highly responsible, well organized, passionate about hotel industry and customer service
  • Sales and goal-oriented personality
  • Outstanding orientation to details and accuracy in daily work
  • Flexibility to work extended hours if needed
  • Previous knowledge of Opera PMS is preferred, not mandatory (full training will be provided)
  • At least 1 year experience in upscale hotel Reservations or Front Office department
